Content Management with Oracle UCM

Digital content has become an integral part of the surrounding document flow. With a proper Enterprise Content Management system (ECM) for digital content, the relationship between people, processes and content can lead to very effective results in Business Process Management within an organization. One of the leading technological solutions for managing documents is the Oracle Universal Content Management.

One of the leading companies is Oracle with their technological solution for Document Management Oracle Universal Content Management. According to the analyst who does researches about the leaders in the field of ECM solutions, Oracle has been in the leader’s quadrant every year since 2007.

Oracle supports all six major components that make up a strong and stable system for managing digital content. The components are Document Management, Scanning and Document Recognition, Collaboration, Web Content Management, Records Management, and Business Process Support. Each of them has its importance in building a platform. The integration of all components in a product can build a complete system that gives users tremendous opportunities for actions with digital documents.

Following the global trends in the management of digital content, in Vereo we successfully develop our experience and knowledge in the development of portal solutions with Oracle UCM.

Vili Tsoneva from Vereo team used the Oracle UCM product to create the web site of an electronic newspaper. This was her master thesis, which she successfully defended on March 24, 2010. The idea for digital newspaper project is in conformity with the trend of establishing digital newspapers and journals more and more as a quick, easy and “green” way to access current information and news. The interface of the site serves the needs and attitude of consumers to use this type of media. A specific strategy for editing and publishing content has been created – both on the site and in the data store. Managing business processes is a particularly important part when publishing digital content. It provides regulated and periodical information update and traceability of actions at each step. Only tools from the Oracle UCM package have been used for the completion of the whole project.

This month launched the new service of eBG.bg - SMS verification and notification of the fine tickets to the Interior Ministry in the system of eBG.bg. Thanks to it, the offending drivers can pay their fines using one SMS.

To pay you should use eBG.bg Checkout from the site of the Interior Ministry or M-tel mpay. Also you should login eBg.bg with your username and password. Now, you could take advantage of the new service – with sending of one SMS you pay the amount of your fine imposed.

To use this service your mobile phone number should be registered in your account in eBG.bg. After that you should send a message with the number and the amount of the ticket to 1669. The indicated amount will be deducted from your card account in eBG.bg. Payments could be made with Maestro, VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, virtual VISA and MasterCard cards issued by Bulgarian banks and accepted for online payments through the eBG.bg system.

On this site fish.mvr.bg you could refer to the due amount marked on the ticket. Here you will find a link to www.ebg.bg. The period for the fine payment provided by the Police is seven days. In case of non-payment within this period, some points from the driver’s check will be withdrawn.

Bulgarian National Consumer Association (BNCA) has new online services

BNCA provides new online services for support, protection and informing of the consumers. On its web portal the Association provides useful information and consults the public about the problems of consumer protection and environmental protection.

There is a fee for the paid publications. The online payment in the portal gives the users an immediate access to the paid articles. The subscription for the “Consumer” magazine can now be declared and paid through the Internet. The list of the articles is available in the portal.

The forum of the internet portal is a true barometer of satisfaction and complaints of the citizens and companies in their role as consumers and suppliers. Through it everyone could send a signal for dangerous and defective goods, incorrect services and could ask for advice and assistance.

The official start of next.gen.platform MyWebRiver
