Centralized Information System for Medicine Allotment

The centralized information system for the allotment of medicines under Regulation No. 34 has been developed for the needs of the Health Ministry of the Republic of Bulgaria and for hospitals that are entitled to prescribe medinices under Regulation No. 34. The application is aimed at raising the Health Ministry's level of information awareness and reducing risks of abuse with state-subsidized expensive medicines.

The system is web-based and the following software technologies and tools have been used to build it: Oracle WebLogic 10.3 Standard Edition, Oracle Real Application Cluster, JDeveloper 11, J2EE, Struts, XML, XSLT, Rational Unified Process.
