System for Fine Ticket Management and Payments

The system provides various options to manage fine tickets issued by the Bulgarian Interior Ministry's Traffic Control officers through the following implemented functionality:

• Inventory management;
• Entry of fine tickets and reports;
• Integration with other Interior Ministry information systems;
• Check and payment of amounts due for fine tickets via the Internet, SMS, WAP;
• Check of amounts due for fine tickets via the Interior Ministry's internet page;
• Creation of subscription for payment of amounts due for fine tickets and SMS notification in real time upon the receiving of a new amount due for fine ticket.

The following software technologies and tools have been used to build the system: JSP, JSTL, Struts 1.x, Spring 2.x, Hibernate 3.x, AcegiSecurity, JaxWS; OracleJDeveloper 10.1.3, Eclipse 3.3.x, Oracle SQL Developer, Aqua Data Studio, Oracle Weblogic 10.3, Apache Tomcat 5.5.x Database: Oracle 10g, Informix 11.
